Acer Aspire One clones going for $190 in China

I’d forgive you if you told me that the picture above showed a stack of Acer Aspire One netbooks. They’re actually Chinese mini-notebooks from a company called Dai Rui. But they bear a more-than-passing resemblance to the Acer Aspire One, which I’m pretty sure is exactly what Dai Rui was going for.

The main difference (aside from the lack of Acer branding), is the fact that these little notebooks are dirt cheap, going for about $190. They’re also only available in China at the moment, but the company behind them hopes to export them to other markets.

The netbook features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of memory, and a 2.5 inch hard drive. They also feature WiFi and optional 3G components, as well as a 10 inch display, Ethernet, and 3 USB ports, which are interestingly packed onto the right side of the laptop, leaving the left side mostly bare.
